Frieth Singers

Frieth Singers is a new community singing group which formed in January 2024. Run by Zoe Hatch from Sound and Song CIC - in partnership with Nikki Yate from Frieth Village Society.

The group is all about the joy of singing, embracing the philosophy that singing is for everyone. You don't need any experience to join our weekly sessions. All the music is taught by ear so you don't even have to read music! At the end of term we'll create sociable opportunities for sharing our songs with the wider community.

WE WILL SING!

Folk, soul, gospel and pop - along with some mindful pieces to soothe and nourish us every week. Most of our songs will be in English but occasionally we will learn tunes from other cultures and languages. With rounds and accessible 4 part harmonies, there will be something for everyone.
