Summer is over, it's time to sing again...

… how are you? How was your summer? It can be tough out there, right? I hope you’re doing ok.

I had a long, long list of things I wanted to do over the holiday period. I was convinced that Summer 2026 was the season I was going to get my sh*t together (will I EVER learn?!) Of course, those of you have known me for while know that my plans always take the scenic route and at least one 'wrong turn', before coming to fruition.

After a few strenuous but fruitless pushes at the start of the holiday, I quickly remembered that force is not the right tool for labouring creativity and manifestation! So, this summer, instead of trying to deliver my plans with forceps and a ventouse, I have leant into the wild, weird and wonderful, and listened to what our mother, nature and the earth, wanted to show me.

Walking the land - Cotswolds 2026

Over the next few weeks I'll be sharing stories and delicious new offerings from my time in the wilds. I have gathered together an abundance of creative energy and I think, I HOPE, NO! I KNOW that I am pregnant with new projects ready to be birthed. They may be past their anticipated due date but I am trusting nature knows when the time is right…

Just how much further can I extend this metaphor, I hear you ask… and, perhaps, more to the point, what on earth am I on about?!

Long story short: There are lots of exciting new things coming up from Sound and Song this term. If you want to make sure you don’t miss out then please check you’re signed up to the WhatsApp announcement group, follow us on all the socials and of course, make sure my email address is in your contacts list so we don't end up in the junk mail!
